What’s the least I can believe and still be a Christian?
This six-week series will examine both what we can let go of and, at the same time, hold onto, on our faith journeys. This series will hopefully be a help and a comfort to those of us who may find ourselves questioning common assumptions about Christianity. The intent is to offer authentic Christian insight that speaks to our deepest needs.
From a centrist, mainline Christian perspective, we will focus on Jesus’ life, his teachings, and his vision for the world. A great benefit of those beliefs is that they provide promising answers to life’s most profound questions, including: Where is God? What matters most? What brings fulfillment? What about suffering? Is there hope?
This series is rooted in the work and writing of Pastor Martin Thielen, who authored a book by the same title.
