Adult Discipleship
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105
We are a church that embraces inquiry. We believe that God not only spoke throughout history, but is still speaking into our contemporary context. We believe God gave us the gift of reason and expects us to use it to better understand and apply God’s Word in both a personal and social context.
We believe that faith is a life-long journey, and one best experienced in community. We offer the opportunity to not only grow deeper in your faith and understanding of the Bible, but to find community and deepen relationships as well. These are places where life transformation happens and we want you to be a part of it!
Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School is held 11:15 am Sunday mornings after worship. The class meets in the Parlor. All are welcome. Subjects of study vary and lay leaders rotate teaching responsibilities. The class takes a summer hiatus the months of July and August.
Faith Book Group
Our book group meets each month on the second Tuesday at 7pm by Zoom, to share our thoughts from reading the current selection of fiction or nonfiction. In January we meet to decide on the books we will read and discuss for the coming year. These books and gatherings are fun, thought-provoking and renewing.
